PMI-SD Board of Directors
The leadership of the PMI San Diego chapter is actively governed by elected officers. This collection of officers has been identified as the PMI-SD Board of Directors (BoD), which is composed of a President and eight (8) Vice Presidents. The BoD is responsible for managing chapter business administration, strategic planning and continuous improvement of membership benefits on behalf of our chapter's community.

President
John Foster, MBA PMP
John Foster has more than 15 years of Management and Project Management experience. He is an experienced Software Project Manager, and has managed projects for companies such as Sony, Barnes & Noble, Wells Fargo, and the State of Virginia Department of Revenue. John has degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, an MBA in Management Information Systems, Computer Science Education, is a PMP, and is currently enrolled in the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program. John was a reviewer and contributor to the current Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge 3rd Edition and the original Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3).
John was on the original San Diego Project Management Conference team and has held many positions within PMI San Diego, including Ambassador Chairperson, VP of Programs, and President. He believes that the more you put into an organization, the more you will get out of it. His vision for PMI is to see the PMP as well recognized as the CPA, and to help members leverage the PMI knowledge base, starting locally and growing globally.

Vice President at Large
Kenneth Wolsey, MBA
Ken Wosley had formerly held the positions of VP of Marketing and VP of Finance before accepting the role of VP at Large. He has been a frequent presenter at PMI functions at the local, regional, and national level on several topics including knowledge management, agile projects, and financial best practices for PMI chapters.
For nearly 25 years Ken has been involved in the development and deployment of advanced expert systems and knowledge management systems for engineering applications. He has worked as an engineer, programmer, project manager, operations manager, and small business executive. He has received 3 US patents for new integration and knowledge management technology, and is the winner of six (6) Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) projects awarded by the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force.
Ken has worked with employers and clients domestically and internationally including Bechtel Power Corporation, General Electric Calma Company, Ahlstrom Pyropower, US Navy, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman, US Air Force, Foster Wheeler International, A.O. Smith, Monsanto EnviroChem, CH2M Hill, and Alcoa.
Ken is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a BS degree in Design Engineering Technology. He also graduated from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA with an MBA degree. In addition, he received a certificate in International Management from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland.
Ken’s private pursuits include coaching marathon teams for Team In Training, which is a fundraising arm of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). He has coached over 500 athletes, who have collectively raised over $1,250,000 for LLS. When not running, he enjoys fishing and wildlife viewing and has an ongoing archive of stories and pictures to back them up. Ken and his wife Trish have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. They call San Diego home where they are active in many church and civic projects.

Vice President of Communications
Todd T. Greenwood, MSM PMP
Todd Greenwood is a solution-centric visionary with a 22-year background of multi-disciplinary skills including Project Management, Business Analysis, Information Systems integration and Business Development. He is a seasoned naval veteran who has served much of his time traveling the world, experiencing many new cultures and learning first-hand the power of diversity and the art of motivation. He is a Senior-level Management Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton directing a team of experienced PM consultants, delivering optimized resourcing, organizational realignment and change management guidance, while influencing an effort to incorporate industries best practices and adopt an enterprise common practice into a project, program and portfolio management community of practice for the U.S. Government.
Todd is an inspirational speaker who has a passion for the Project Management discipline. He has been a practitioner of Project/Portfolio management for over 10 years, an active member of both PMI and the PMI San Diego since 2006 and was most recently the Chapter’s, award winning Newsletter Editor. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Governors State University, Illinois in 2003, Masters of Science (MSM) degree in Strategic Business Management from Troy University, Alabama in 2005 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential in 2006. Todd is also an adjunct instructor of Information Systems/Wireless technology at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and frequently delivers seminars on Project Management and Business Development topics.

Vice President of Finance
Andrea Christian, PMP
Ms. Christian has been a consultant for the last 6 years supporting government clients on Project/Program Management engagements. She obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and Finance from San Diego State University. Ms. Christian obtained her PMP in 2005 and has been involved in PMI for the last 4 years. She was the V.P. of Finance for the Southern Maryland Chapter in 2004. Ms. Christian has been a familiar face in the San Diego Chapter for the last two years. She has participated in multiple activities including 2007 PMI-SD Conference Executive Event Chair, 2008 executive event volunteer, and registration volunteer for monthly component meetings. As she steps into her new role as VP of Finance, she is eager to set policies and standards in place. She is also looking forward enhance financial communication between the members and the board.
On a personal note, Ms. Christian enjoys spending time with her husband and two little girls, Samantha and Alyssa. She has trained for and completed a marathon and a ½ Ironman Triathlon. Ms. Christian looks forward to having enough time in the day to train and complete a full Ironman triathlon.

Vice President of Outreach
Erika Flora, MS PMP
Erika holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and a Master of Science degree in Food Science, with an emphasis in Food Microbiology, from the University of Florida. She is PMP certified as well as MS Project/Project Server Black Belt certified through IIL. She has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/drug development industry and project/program management. In addition, she has expertise in process improvement as well as Project Server/SharePoint implementation. Erika is a co-owner of Creative Enterprise Solutions, a management consulting and training firm in Phoenix and San Diego.
Erika is passionate about project management has served in numerous volunteer roles within PMI. She is currently on the Leadership Advisory Council for PMI Phoenix and has served in previous years as the Vice President of External Relations and Director of Volunteer Services. In 2007, Erika was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” by PMI International. She also serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) in San Diego and is a member of MPA, the Microsoft Project Association.

John Stenbeck, PMP
John G. Stenbeck, P.M.P., is a Sr. Project Management Consultant living in beautiful San Diego. Vice President of Projects
Oscar Ghopeh, MBA PMP
Oscar has over 20 years of experience in technology based environments; engineering, software development, management information systems, information technology, professional services, data communication, configuration management, satellite broadcast systems, wireless communication, network management, telecommunication, e-commerce, real estate development, marketing, and sales.
Oscar has worked in many capacities including as systems engineer, project engineer, project manager, and program manager. In these capacities, Oscar has managed critical projects through the entire life cycles for fortune 500 companies including Unisys, Lockheed Martin, DirecTV, Hughes, Raytheon, and Computer Associates. Oscar is a principal business owner and independent consultant practitioner in business start-up, product marketing, and management. Oscar has a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering Technology and he has a MBA.
Oscar has numerous other certifications, training, and designations, including receiving his PMP in 2003. Oscar has been involved with PMI-SD since 2003 and participated in all conferences held. In fact he was the chair for 2007 conference! Oscar has a passion in helping people to tap into their professional resources to enhance and enjoy a higher professional life.

Vice President of Programs
Dan Wallis, MBA PMP
Dan Wallis has nearly 20 years of experience in the application of technology to help address business problems. Since beginning his career in business technology in 1990, Dan has used his ability to translate complex technical concepts into solutions across a wide variety of industries. While over half of his career has been focused on healthcare call centers, he has also worked in consulting, systems integration and custom software design, semiconductors and not-for-profit philanthropies. This wide range of experience has helped to develop expertise in strategy development and execution, successful project delivery, business process improvement, business continuity planning, and the management of mission critical 24/7 environments. He currently utilizes this experience as Director of Technology for KP OnCall, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaiser Permanente that provides nurse triage and advice to over 4 million members.
A dynamic leader, Dan is experienced with helping teams develop successful technology hardware and software solutions aligned with organizational goals. A talented and engaging speaker, Dan has presented at several national technology conferences, and has been nationally recognized for his innovative work. Most recently, as a pioneer in the implementation of a virtual call centers, Dan was recognized by the Telework Coalition at the Call Center 2.0 conference for his work in developing a work at home program in a union environment. He is a constant and positive force for change, both strategic and tactical, and infuses his enthusiasm and energy into any environment.
Dan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business/Information systems and a Masters in Business Administration. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified in LEAN and ITIL methodologies. Additionally, he is an active member of Society of Information Managers (SIM) and works as part time faculty at University of Phoenix, teaching graduate level strategic management.
